Influence of mass media in education for the culture of peace

Environment / climate of the peace:

The role of mass media in helping to increase the culture of peace can be effectively attained only in promising environment which supports this aim, and improves and increases their influence: political, economic, social, cultural. It also has to be wide and stable. Nevertheless, planning media news and messages for improving and developing the culture of peace should be a component part of the national, regional and international social motivation, and it should cover different aspects of human life, from local to global interests.

Commitment to the peace:

I will mention Egypt as an example, my country, which has been dedicated to the peace since Camp-David Peace Summit which resulted in ratification of the peace agreement with Israel in 1979, playing an important strategy role in peace accomplishing in Arab region and different parts of the world, taking part in maintaining peace missions in different countries, including BiH. Therefore, the only way of achieving significant level of self-sustainable development in peace environment is effective government, which has a very important role in resolving social problems, especially poverty, illiteracy, health etc. Referring to these social problems is the base of developing human resources.
